The Power of Passion and Perseverance To Offer Parents' Keys to Success

People who succeed in education are driven by a passion for unlocking opportunities. I learned this firsthand when I launched my first venture, an English-language tutoring service in Turkey. Despite the challenges, our commitment to student success kept us going.

Just as I started doubting, our first student enrolled. Six months later, they passed their English exam with flying colors, gaining a passport to a world of opportunities. This success led to referrals, eventually supporting hundreds of students in passing exams and accessing the world. The experience reaffirmed my belief that with perseverance and dedication, it's possible to build something transformative in education.

Fast forward to 2021, as the pandemic's end became visible. I realized that once it ended, parents would intensify their efforts to find the best summer program for their teenagers. I discovered that 12 million parents worldwide spend up to five weeks searching for these programs.

Inspired, I created Best Parents, an ed-tech platform matching teenagers with pre-college camps. By leveraging AI and providing 24/7 access to expert counselors, we simplify the process of finding the right camp for each child.

One of the most rewarding moments came when I received a thank you note from a student. They initially thought their passion was in medicine, but after attending a biology camp, they realized it wasn't the right path. Instead, they decided to pursue business. Knowing that I played a role in helping this child find their true calling makes all the hard work worthwhile.

My takeaway is simple: believe in yourself, stay true to your passions, persevere, and never give up. If I had succumbed to doubt and given up on my first educational venture, I wouldn't have the privilege of helping children lay the foundation for a successful future today.
