Time with family is a precious commodity for working mothers. We often plan family time and outings that are documented on the phone’s digital camera, saving these memories for sometime down the road. But those photos pile up. When we’re snapping away, hoping we’ll get a decent shot where everyone is looking, it can often be an impossible task. And then sorting through those photos later is often long forgotten.

As a busy working mom, I’m a huge fan of anything that can save us time. My co-founder (formerly with Google and Dropbox) and I were shocked by the knowledge that there wasn’t a tool out there that can help with such a task, so we decided to create one and GoodOnes was born.

We started with AI because it's a time saver for those little chores you don’t want to do. And then we came up with a totally unique game-changing concept: Users get to influence how the AI chooses based on HI (human intelligence).

Think of the cloud as that shoebox of photos you have in your closet and GoodOnes is the service that creates a curated album of the best shots from the box. And then the user gets the final say. Because privacy is so important, GoodOnes only works on the photos inside your phone–never uploading to a different server. It works seamlessly with your iCloud and Google Photos.

I can’t think of a better idea than giving parents a shortcut to help with such an important task as saving memories.
