The Power To Change Our Move

Have you ever been in a place feeling like everything was in sync, you understood and were grateful for having enough?

Then, suddenly the rug is ripped out from under you, turning your life upside down and inside out. Spirits crushed, hopes dashed and faith shaken. I’ve been there and promise you will thrive.  Breast cancer was my “shot"— an alarming reality.

As a survivor, I now know what it is like to come face to face with the enemy, a terrifying disease that demands every ounce of our strength to fight its threat on our life. We are each unique emerging from this "moment" with or without the ability to move on. The “after” can be tougher, as we seek normalcy ...whatever that means.

Reality is, life has a new meaning, feel and presence.

I now inspire survivors to pick themselves up off the floor, quiet their mind, find their balance allowing ourselves to be guided in finding peace.

Cancer triggers an exhausting stir of confusion, anger overwhelming uneasiness in fearing the unknown. We suddenly sense a lack of control in life desperately trying to cope with the emotional and physical aftermath of facing our own mortality, lingering in the grips of uncertainty.  We have the power to heal, to achieve a sense of renewal, purpose, and genuine balance again. Life may not be easy, yet can be made simple.

In order for our lives to really change, something deeper has to take place within us, working on our thoughts and discovering what’s working ~ what’s not. We need to take stock of where we are in our life now, where we're headed and use simple processes to move in that direction.  My advocacy speaks to living the beautiful life that we’ve earned: the extraordinary gift we’ve been granted.
