When Covid-19 hit, my business partner Christian Kjjaer and I knew that countless
pets would need our help. With the knowledge that the unhoused population would have even fewer resources than usual, we created a nonprofit organization called The ElleVet Project - inspired by the name of our science-based CBD+CBDA company ElleVet Sciences - which provides emergency care, including
vaccinations, surgeries, general check-ups, food, and supplies for vulnerable pets.

Since 2020, we have helped thousands of pets and their owners to receive the care they need. Traveling
to vulnerable and unhoused communities throughout the United States, in an RV nicknamed the “ElleVan,” allows us to reach the invisible pets, who otherwise may never have access to Veterinary services.

By making the ElleVet Project a cornerstone of our company, we have provided our employees, the many veterinary professionals, and the companies that partner with us the ability to change lives for the better. We want to show that making charitable work an integral part of your company is a sound business policy
that pays dividends far beyond what you expect.

Throughout this journey, I have learned that when you treat the pets, you treat the owners as well and that no dollar amount equals the feeling you get when you help a person and pet in need.
