My personal journey began with a diagnosis of late-stage Lyme disease in my 20’s, which led to a range of issues including skin-related problems like cystic acne. Inspired by the power of Eastern medicine and driven by the desire to help others dealing with similar skin ailments, I created a line of holistic skincare products. With every purchase of a Protea product, we donate thoughtfully curated SkinConfidence™ Kits to women in homeless shelters. By providing essential skincare items, we strive to lift their spirits and restore a sense of dignity during challenging times.

After launching the products, I recognized the need for a comprehensive skincare solution that allows people to ask all their skin related questions in a safe and easy manner and get responses from trusted experts that understand diverse skin tones, life stages and a range of ailments.

I developed Protea's Skin Support Consultation Platform, which is the first-of-its kind platform to connect individuals with licensed, specialized, and experienced estheticians virtually. Our community of vetted skincare professionals ask the right questions and provide bespoke skincare strategies with unbiased product recommendations, ensuring every individual feels seen, understood, and empowered.
