How to Strike Your Own Damn Balance Webinar with Amy Looper

Listen, you don't need to be empowered.

You have the power within you – you need to recognize and value it.

Did you know that companies with more women in leadership roles make more money?

Women are the primary or sole breadwinners in 40% of US households with children under the age of 18.

Women make 85% of the buying decisions globally.

The power is in your hands.

Investing time and effort in harnessing your power makes good business sense.

Gloria challenges you to create a better relationship with power and use Intentioning as a method to transform your dreams to reality.

Which is why Gloria, along with Amy Leigh Looper, Founder & CEO of Leading Motherhood, are volunteering their time to show you how to step into those leadership roles, on your own terms without sacrificing your energy and vitality.

Join Gloria and Amy and learn how to Strike Your Own Damn Balance on Monday 3/20/23 at 1 pm ET at no cost to you.  Space is limited, sign up now.

Lady of Record;Experience & Panel Conversation

As women, we need long-term security yet most of us are not owning our financial health. Many hold assets in cash & outsource major decisions to male authorities in their lives, furthering the gender wealth gap. Women own $0.32 to a man’s dollar. For women of color, it’s down to pennies.

This is no surprise. Where are our allies? At Lady of Record, we believe that real estate ownership is one of the most secure & impactful ways to create a seismic shift in women’s wealth creation. Not only does it offer tangible income for today & long-term growth for the future, but - as showcased by bringing 837 Washington to life - physical assets allow for endless connectivity, creativity & momentum to learn & grow by doing.

Hosted by Samsung 837, join us for an evening dedicated to creating a space where women make financial decisions, control their own resources & shine their lights, unapologetically.

Thanks to our partners, attendance is at no cost - RSVP required!

3 Powers of Leadership Intention

  • This is an In-Person & Online Event Time is in Eastern Time (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Want to know the secret that differentiates people who do OK and those who soar in their
businesses or careers?
One word: Intentioning

Never heard that word? I made it up! People talk a lot about intention. And it’s a great word. An important word. But I wanted it to be an active verb to signal just that—action. Join Gloria Feldt, cofounder and president of Take The Lead and author of Intentioning: Sex, Power, Pandemics, and How Women Will Take The Lead for (Everyone’s) Good. And I am excited to share with Luminary members how to elevate intentioning with ease and integrity!

Please join me for a workshop on The Three Powers of Leadership Intention(ing):

Why: We’ll explore new power concepts that crack the code keeping women from equal leadership and pay, the impact of implicit bias on our behavior and how to break through internal and external barriers to leadership proficiency and advancement.
What: Interactive discussion of Leadership Power Tools 2, “define your own terms” and 3 “use what you’ve got”, to embrace your power authentically, confidently, and joyfully to clarify your intentions.

Takeaways:
o Learn the three key powers of intention that underpin effective leadership at any level: vision, courage, and action.
o Identify the difference between ambition and intention and how together they can propel you to greater success.
o Be energized by exercises to boost your POI (powers of intention), such as intentions journal, prepaving, the four questions technique, Points of Power, and Power Map, in a handy workbook you can keep for reference and practice.

There will be fun, food, friendship, and prizes.

About Gloria:

Gloria Feldt is a nationally acclaimed expert on women, power, and leadership with expertise that comes from frontline leadership experience, a bestselling author, and in-demand keynote speaker. Selected for Forbes 50 over 50, she is cofounder and president of Take The Lead, whose mission reflects her life’s passion: to prepare, develop, inspire, and propel women of all diversities to take their fair and equal share of leadership positions across all sectors by 2025 by providing breakthrough training, mentoring and coaching role modeling, and thought leadership. She is the bestselling author of five books. Her latest, Intentioning: Sex, Power, Pandemics and How Women Will Take The Lead, shows how we can seize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of massive disruption to build back stronger with women at the center of the recovery. Through the lens of women’s stories, it delivers a fresh set of leadership tools, skills, and concepts that help all women reach their own highest intentions, purposefully creating new norms, while guiding institutions to break through the remaining barriers to gender and racial parity for everyone’s good.

May is mental health month. How are you doing?

For the final episode of the spring series, Gloria will sit down with Dr. Nancy O'Reilly, PsyD, for Mental Health Month.

As an international philanthropist and trailblazer for women's empowerment, Dr. Nancy D. O’Reilly, PsyD, believes women will hasten their advance to equality by defining themselves and others as leaders.

Nancy says that it is important for women to build and “intention” their wealth; not just to help other women individually, but to advance women’s equality in society overall. She started Women Connect 4 Good because she wanted to use what she had learned to help other women.

For Mental Health Month, Gloria and Dr. Nancy check in with themselves and each other to ask, "How are we doing? "
