Reshma Saujani- founder Girls Who Code and Marshall Plan for Moms: Strike your own damn balance (Intentioning Leadership Tool 5)
On Thursday, April 14th, Gloria hosts Reshma Saujani on Intentioning This! Live to discuss the Leadership Intentioning Tool #5, Strike Your Own Damn Balance.
Reshma Saujani is a leading activist and the founder of Girls Who Code and the Marshall Plan for Moms. She has spent more than a decade building movements to fight for women and girls’ economic empowerment, working to close the gender gap in the tech sector and most recently advocating for policies to support moms impacted by the pandemic.
In response to the disproportionate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on America’s moms, Reshma launched the Marshall Plan for Moms to advocate for policies that value women’s labor in and out of the home.
In this episode, Gloria and Reshma discuss how ultimately we get to choose what matters to us. Gloria urges women leaders to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain-don’t go with someone else’s version of “balance” in this life.
