Those numbers represent the number of hate groups in each state, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, that recently reported white nationalist hate groups in the U.S. have increased 55% since 2016. The rise in racist white nationalism affects the lives of every BIPOC and underrepresented individual and community in this country.
